Our Practice
Brian E. Kurtz, O.D. Dr. Kurtz has been in practice since 1991. He graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He served our country for three years in the United States Air Force as an optometrist and was in charge of the student internship program. Dr. Kurtz is a member of the Georgia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association, specializing in Eye Pathology. |
Donna M. Wilborn, L.D.O. Donna has been a Licensed Optician since 1980. She specializes in professional management of eye wear fitting, dispensing, frame styling, and color analysis. She maintains excellent technical experience of fitting Progressive Lenses. Donna is also a certified Zeiss, Hoya, and Varilux lens vision expert. |
Airica L. Peters Airica has been in the optical industry for nearly ten years. As our Office Manager, she has extensive training and knowledge in insurance coordination and filing, contact lens and optical dispensing applications, and all business aspects of the medical field. She has also been on the medical side of the optical business as a technician for over 4 years. |
Misti R. Root Misti is our lab technician and accounts receivable coordinator. Her responsibilities include lens manufacturing and edging as well as insurance verification and eligibility, insurance coding and billing, accounts receivable, insurance reconsideration and managerial assistance. She is cross-trained in prestesting capabilities as well as lensometry, frame repair, dispensing and is Q-2100 certified. |
Tonya M. Poe Tonya is currently our lead front desk patient coordinator and has been in customer service for 8 years. She is skilled in insurance verification and eligibility as well as all aspects of being an optical techician. She is working towards becoming National Contact Lens Examiner (NCLE) certified. Tonya is accomplished in the areas of contact lens trainings, insertion/removal, visual field testing, and pretesting. |
